Eldon: On Instagram, I believe. I was posting on Instagram and TikTok, and IG was the one popping off the most, like by a lot. So, I think there was another one, 600K.

Max: Yeah, I’m looking at it right now. So one has 1.6 million, and the other one 718K.

Eldon: Is that that one? I think so. I believe so. Yeah.

Max: Wow. Amazing. Absolutely awesome stuff there. Now obviously, this is really, really cool. And you’re a tattoo artist, and things like that are just so good for reach. Getting 1.6 million views is pretty good. And you don’t have a big audience to begin with, right? How many followers do you have?

Eldon: 1,800 something.

Max: Amazing. That just goes to show because so many people come to us and they’re like, “Oh, you know, it only works if you already have a big brand.” But you don’t have a big brand yet, and you’re still going viral.

Max: Tell me more about this idea. It was one of the content ideas that we delivered to you, and then you implemented it. Did it go viral right away, or did it take a couple of days?

Eldon: It’s the pain scale tattoo one. Yes, correct. Honestly, that one started to take off pretty fast. I think it was because of how ridiculous I was being, which I’m pretty good at. It’s kind of my thing.

Max: I could tell.

Eldon: So people thought it was really funny. It was either people thought it was really funny or they were like, “He didn’t do his backside,” or other little things. Then I commented and all that stuff. I never know how much I’m supposed to comment on people’s things because the more it goes viral, like if there’s a thousand comments or 20, it’s a big difference.

Max: For sure. Commenting helps to a degree, but once you’re getting a million-plus views, commenting is like a drop on a hot stone. It won’t make that much difference anymore. But what you can do is look at the top comment and make a video about that. If it’s the top comment, people voted it up, so it’s a good topic to follow up on. If people say, “What about your back?” you can recreate the video for your backside.

Eldon: Sure.

Max: When you saw that content idea from us, how did you feel? Did you know it would perform well?

Eldon: I didn’t know it would perform as well as it did, but when I read what it was and what I was supposed to do, I was like, “I could make this more ridiculous.” I could make it more funny in my style.

Max: I love it. It fits super well. When you look at the lessons you’ve learned so far, is there anything that stood out?

Eldon: I feel like the 30-day content calendar, like the Excel sheet and everything, was very easy to follow and do, which is a big deal. I feel like things can be very complicated in the social media world, and this was just simple. It tells you what to do, how to do it, what to put in the caption. Very easy to follow.
