The Big Reveal – Hitting the 53K Milestone

Max: Lasse, how much have you made now exactly last month?

Lasse: Last month it was 53,600.

Max: Congrats man! Awesome job! And remember we said, “hey 50k a month, let’s go” and there you go, you did it.

Max: We got our client Lasse here who’s a dating coach and just cracked 50k a month with our help. You might remember him from the previous video that we made with him where he cracked his first 10k. He’s absolutely crushing it. We got together with him, asked him about the process that we used to get him there. So if you’re inspired by this, go watch and enjoy.

Max: It was really cool because we just published the 17K a month video that we did a couple weeks ago. Now all of a sudden, boom, hey let’s do another one because he cracked the 50k.

The Growth Strategy – From Organic Content to Team Building

Max: What’s happened ever since? What made the difference between the 17K and now the 50k?

Lasse: Actually my brand got bigger. So that helped of course a lot like on Instagram, on TikTok also. That’s a really good team now. Like a good sales team, a coach and everything. So everything’s growing a lot but we still don’t use ads or something. It’s just organic.

Max: Just organic man, just organic. The cool thing is, a couple things, so in regards to ads now we’ve done exactly what we’re supposed to do which is create a solid foundation, make sure you get to 10 20K a month, and then you can kind of go down two routes you say, “okay let’s go straight into ads and go from 20K to 50K with ads or let’s double down on the branding kind of thing,” which is what we did with you, specifically short form videos, such as you know, short form on TikTok, short form on Instagram reels.

Max: It was really cool because you’re really good at that and you that was also the kind of thing that you wanted to do. I remember even you said it in the interview in the previous one, like, “I want to get big, I want to become known, I want to have a large following,” so we said, “let’s do it,” and you know we gave you the right tools, you executed them very, very well. And what are your stats now? How many followers you got on TikTok?

Lasse: 55,000.

Max: And on Instagram you’re about to crack the 30k.

Lasse: Yeah, that’s quite close to 30k.

Max: Epic. And in regards to the team, I also remember, yeah we came to a point where you had too many closing calls and we’re like okay you need to get some help with the you just got too many people that wanted to buy from you and now you have one closer and one setter, right?

Lasse: Exactly.

Max: So a team of two and then of course the next problem is, then you get too many clients, you need to make sure that you don’t get stuck in non-stop coaching. So you got one coach that helps you out or did you get two already? I can’t remember.

Lasse: I now, I have one coach.

Max: Okay, there you go. So, and that’s pretty cool, like with a small team of three people, with the closure getting paid on commission anyways and the set are getting paid partly on commission, it’s really, really simple, you can make 50k and you’re not even at capacity yet. I think you can easily get to 75k, maybe already 100k with that team. If not, it could be that we have to hire another sales guy just to work off all the leads that are coming in to get 200k. But generally speaking, one closer, it can make 100K for you and that’s kind of like the goal. That’s the next thing that we want to get you to.

The Game Changer – Professional Branding and The Flywheel Effect

Max: What do you think was the biggest game changer? You know, if someone watches this right now and they say “hey I’m kind of stuck at 10, 20K a month or 8K or something like that,” what was the game changer for you to say “that’s what I needed to get into 50k?”

Lasse: I think because everything got more professional. Mainly because you helped me. Like with the communication, and the pictures, the videos and everything. So I think I attracted more people that are interesting to buy. Because I remember in the beginning was hard to get calls. Like the percentage was really low and I had to interact with more people and now it’s like the people come to me. I think it’s like the flywheel you talked about. Like when you get a customer, then you get more positive feedback when you do well and then what people are interested and it’s like a, yeah, upward spiral.

Max: Dope. And then you know, once you hit that critical mass of short form videos, it’s just like more and more people getting attracted by these videos and they go see the profile, they start binge watching it. That’s exactly what happened to you. And have you gotten recognized already on the street or somewhere?

Lasse: Yeah. Yeah, actually. Like I remember, it was before I got to Poland, where I’m at the moment. In my hometown, some people came to me, also in the nightclub and said “hey man, cool videos, cool stuff.” It was really, it was really nice. Just friendly people also.

Max: Dude, so far, so good. Yeah, it’s gonna be more. Just get ready. Like you can’t put that genie back in the bottle. You got to be recognized now all the time, which is a cool thing. Like 99% of people are really awesome, just ask for a photo or something like that.

Location Independence and Future Plans

Max: Yeah. And I also remember because you mentioned that you’re now in Warsaw, right? Yeah. I remember, you and I talked about it and you were in Germany and you made all this money but you’re like you kind of seemed a little unhappy or unhappy it’s a little too, too extreme. You seemed a little stressed and I’m like, “why don’t you pack your stuff and go somewhere, like nothing keeps you there, you make the money now,” and then you’re just like off we go. What was the thought process behind that? Why did you choose Poland even though it, you know, it’s a nice city but it’s cold? Why don’t you go to, I don’t know, South America, or something like that?

Lasse: Actually it was quite random because for me, it was true I want to go out for Germany for some time, and my sales man was in Warsaw at the moment and I’ve heard a lot of positive stuff here. Like people are really friendly, it’s a really good vibe in general. A lot better than Germany, I think. Also for dating, it’s really good. So I said “why not.” I also would like to go Russia. And I really like it, so far.

Max: Love it. Of course, yeah we forgot to give the context last day, as a dating coach in Germany. So you’re also doing it locally. So you’re not international, you’re doing this in your own basically home country, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and it works very, very well. So a lot of people also think like “oh you need to do international in order to make a lot of money.” No, I think with you we have the capacity to get you to easy 200 250k a month, even if it’s quote unquote only in the german-speaking regions. And that’s of course the goal. So I think we can hit the 100K relatively soon. We just need to ramp up now with paid advertising. And on top of that, YouTube channel branding, so on and so forth. We’ll talk more about this after the interview. You know, just make sure that this, that the sales team is on point and that the delivery is on point and stuff like that.

Max: Now, we always say until, you know, 20K a month, you can absolutely do everything alone so you have 100 profit margins and in your case now with a small team of three people, you’ll still have like 75 80% profit margins which is still really good. It’s still like best profit margins ever better than in any other industry.

Max: What’s your plan for winter because you said like you’re only going to stay in Warsaw until December and then?

Lasse: Probably I will go home over Christmas to Germany again and then we also want to go in some warmer area. Yeah. Because it’s cold already. Maybe Cyprus? Like yeah we have to check it because of the time zone. So like America or Asia is not perfect but it would also work. So we’re not completely sure yet.

Max: Yeah. Cyprus is nice and also Tenerife. Really nice in the winter. A little bit warmer than Cyprus but yeah, I mean, I’m inside a lot of times too, so let’s definitely hang there.

Final Thoughts and Family Reactions

Max: If you have anything else you want to mention? Anything else you want to tell the viewer watching this?

Lasse: It’s the best business option you have. If I would compare it, maybe for opening a restaurant or something, it’s a lot shittier I think. I’m a lot more stressful and you have a really small profit margin or I’m not sure about the English word is. But like for the online stuff, it’s a lot better. You can work everywhere, you don’t have a risk, so I would prefer this business. If you’re really passionate about helping people of course, and have a skill, then it’s the best.

Max: Yeah. I mean obviously I’m biased but I agree. Here’s my question and we asked you in the previous interview as well. You quit your medicine studies to become a doctor. Obviously it worked out pretty well that you quit that for you and we also talked about your parents. What do your parents think now? They were already pretty proud once you hit the 17K but I mean, they must be on you know, in heaven right now, like just up to cloud nine with our son making 50k or what, what’s their opinion on it?

Lasse: Yeah. I think they, they are proud actually. But of course, they are still kind of nagging about it and say, “you should finish the doctor.” Because they are visiting me at the moment and they are also in Russia.

Max: Oh, nice.

Lasse: That’s really nice they came here. But of course they have more trust now so they are not afraid that I will end up broke or something or can’t pay my bills or some some stuff, so, yeah.

Max: You know, it’s so cute because like, your parents are like my parents. I’m Austrian. You’re German. It’s like typical German Austrian mentality you know. Like “oh don’t have a business, go finish studying” and stuff like that. It’s really cute. I like it. It’s very like you know a conservative stance. But it’s cool. Have you invited them to stake already or what?

Lasse: Actually tonight we go out and have a steak.
